NANCY GLAZIER
Always knowing she wanted to be an artist,
Nancy Glazier's grandmother presented her with her first set of oil
paints when she was eight. Her delighted father sold her first painting
when she was twelve. Her family moved to Wyoming when she was sixteen. Glazier was |
introduced to Cody Museum muralist, Adolph Spohr, who singled her out for private
instruction.
Painting is the very breath of her life.
While she is painting, Glazier feels complete, joyful, powerful and
free. Today, the animals Glazier prefers to paint are truly wild and
free. Elk, deer, moose, bear, cougar, coyote, fox, birds from osprey to
pine siskin, share their territory with her in the mountains of the
Northwest. "My paintings invite you into this world. Journey with me
awhile. I will share with you what the eyes of my heart see."
